Terms of Service

Welcome to Corcept Tools. By accessing or using our website, digital workspace, and associated applications (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.

1. Use of the Service

Corcept Tools provides a suite of digital utilities, including PDF manipulation, 3D rendering, AI generation, and workflow automation. You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You are strictly prohibited from:

• Uploading, processing, or generating illegal, explicit, or highly offensive material using our tools.
• Attempting to bypass our credit system, API limits, or security infrastructure.
• Using automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to execute tools rapidly (unless explicitly permitted via an official API).
• Reverse-engineering, decompiling, or modifying the frontend client code (including our 3D Render Engine and Document builders).

We reserve the right to ban or block any IP address or user account found violating these rules without prior notice.

2. Credits, Accounts, and Subscriptions

Certain high-compute tools on Corcept (such as AI Voice Synth, AI Background Removal, and high-res 3D Rendering) operate on a credit-based system.

• Guest Users: Guests are allocated a daily allowance of free credits (currently 5 credits/day). These credits are tied to your IP address and session. We reserve the right to modify or revoke this daily allowance at any time to prevent abuse.
• Pro Accounts: Users who purchase credit packages or subscriptions ("Pro Users") receive a set amount of credits. All purchases are final and non-refundable once credits have been used.
• Credit Expiration: Paid credits do not expire as long as your account remains active. Free daily guest credits do not roll over to the next day.

3. Intellectual Property & Ownership of Output

Your Content: You retain all rights to the files, images, and data you upload into Corcept Tools. We do not claim ownership over your source files.

Generated Output: Any files generated by our Service (e.g., converted PDFs, generated Resumes, synthesized Audio, 3D Renders) are yours to use for both personal and commercial purposes, provided the source material used to generate them does not violate third-party copyrights.

Our Platform: The Corcept platform itself—including its UI design, source code, logos, and custom algorithms—remains the exclusive intellectual property of Corcept.

4. Limitation of Liability

While we strive for 100% uptime and precise outputs, Corcept Tools is provided on an "AS-IS" and "AS-AVAILABLE" basis.

We do not guarantee that the Service will be completely free of bugs, downtime, or data loss. By using Corcept Tools, you agree that we shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from:

• The use or inability to use our tools.
• Corrupted or lost files during the processing phase.
• Errors in generated outputs (e.g., OCR misreads or formatting errors in invoices/CVs).

Always maintain backups of your original, critical files before processing them through our web utilities.

5. Service Modifications and Termination

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any specific tool within the Corcept workspace at any time. We may also update the credit cost of specific computational tools to reflect our server overhead. While we will make reasonable efforts to notify users of major changes, we are not liable to you for any modification or suspension of the Service.

6. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Corcept operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
